Saliva drops video for 'Rise Up' prior to album release

Saliva are back with the title track from their new album, ‘Rise Up,’ and debuted their video for the title track late yesterday.

The clip was directed by Jon Vulpine and is split between fiery performance footage and a narrative that follows a young couple as they’re trailed by a vicious gang of masked assailants. The imminent danger faced is perfectly offset by frontman Bobby Amaru belting the line, “Tomorrow could be the end.”

Frontman Bobby Amaru told Loudwire of the song, “‘Rise Up’ was just kind of where we were at and how I felt. That whole like, been there with no regrets kind of thing. You kind of overcome the everyday challenge of life. A lot of people can relate to that.”

As previously mentioned ‘Rise Up’ is featured on the album of the same name. The disc drops April 29 via Rum Bum Records and can currently be pre-ordered via iTunes and Amazon. Saliva is currently in the midst of a North American tour.
